Rest, Reflect & Reconnect
A monthly self-care and reflection space for self-employed women in Northwich, Cheshire
If you’re running a business while juggling work, home and caring responsibilities — and quietly feeling tired, stretched, disconnected, or in need of some space for yourself — this is your invitation to pause.
Rest, Reflect & Reconnect is a small, supportive monthly gathering for self-employed women in and around Northwich, Cheshire, created to help you slow down, rest your nervous system, reflect on what matters, and reconnect with yourself — so you can continue to grow your business without burning yourself out.
Through guided reflection, deep rest and shared experience, this space supports your wellbeing, resilience and sustainable business growth — because you are your business, and how you care for yourself truly matters.
Rest, Reflect & Reconnect is a small, nurturing group for 6–8 self-employed women, meeting monthly over 6 months, to rest, reflect and reconnect — supporting your wellbeing and your business.
This is for you if you’re:
Juggling work, home and caring responsibilities
Feeling stressed, tired, overwhelmed or disconnected
Experiencing perimenopause or menopause
Working alone and craving supportive connection
Passionate about your business, but in need of renewed energy and clarity
Craving space that feels more nourishing than traditional networking
You ARE your business.
When you give yourself time to care for your nervous system, your mental wellbeing and your inner world, then everything else benefits — your work, your creativity, your relationships and your sense of direction.
“I would highly recommend this. Suddenly I feel myself again. Also, there’s chocolate!”

“ The room was set up in a very welcoming way. All the ladies were lovely and it was great to hear others experiences.”
I'm Sarah and I’ve been teaching yoga in Northwich since 2013. I am a certified Hatha, Pregnancy, Postnatal and Menopause Yoga Teacher, Yoga Nidra Facilitator as well as Mental Health First Aid trained. For over ten years I’ve been holding informal, supportive spaces for women to share, reflect and renew.
I’m passionate about enabling women to rest and feel truly seen and heard because these are powerful tools for healing, empowerment and sustainable growth – in life and in business.
“Sarah is friendly, open and welcoming. It is her knowledge, interest and lovely calm manner that make her sessions stand out”
Often asked questions:
What do I need to bring:
a journal if you have one you already use
a yoga mat or similar to lie on for our yoga nidra relaxation
a blanket (and possibly fluffy socks too, as your temperature may drop when you are resting)
a cushion or pillow for under your head / to sit on
an eye mask/eye pillow or scarf is always nice to use
a drink of water
wear comfy clothes - layers help to adjust to the temperature of the room
I have a few mats and extra blankets available to borrow on the day. There will be paper and pens available too.
Do I have to sit on the floor?
chairs are available if you prefer not to sit on the floor
relaxations are usually best done lying on the floor, but you can sit on a chair if you prefer
What happens if I can’t attend a session?
you will still have access to all the between session connections - what’s app, inspiration emails, yoga nidra library and in-person/online class
I will send out the theme and journal prompts after the session so that you can work on them at home
I’m shy or not keen to share in a group:
that’s ok, it's a confidential space, with no judgement. Our ethos is respect for all so if you choose not to speak or share that is ok.
it is a place to be heard, it's not a place for advice or fixing anything (unless this is asked for). We act as witnesses for each other. All emotions are welcome, please share only what you feel comfortable to.
Do I need to write a lot?
No, you can respond to the themes and reflection prompts in as much or little detail as you wish. You can use written word or pictures, or just take the time to contemplate without putting anything on paper at all.
I’d love to come but I am not self-employed:
You are welcome to come if you’re not self-employed, you will still be able to use the guidance and reflection for another aspect of your life or work. Being self-employed brings a commonality of experience to participants, but is not essential to gain benefit from the sessions.
I look forward to welcoming you, Sarah xx
